Can I bring my dog to the Festival des Rhythmes du Monde de Saguenay?
No animals are tolerated ont the festival site, among other things because of the high crowd density during the event.
Do I have the right to smoke on the festival site?
Within the limits of the respectable, the smokers are tolerated on the site of the festival. We ask that you be lenient and away from the crowd if possible to avoid inconvenience to non-smokers. Thank you for your understanding.
Are the shows canceled in case of rain?
The performances will only be canceled in case of extreme violent and electric storm. Otherwise, everything will happen.
Can I propose artists for the festival's programming?
Of course! We are always on the lookout for emerging artists. Write us on Facebook or send us an e-mail with your suggestion to firstname.lastname@example.org. However, please note that our 2017 programming is complete.
Are there any prohibited items on the site?
Any dangerous object that could put at risk the lives of festival-goers, artists, merchants or Festival employees (weapon, knife, rifle, etc.). Also, any glass container is prohibited for security measures imposed by the City. Alcoholic products purchased outside the site are prohibited, the International Rhythms of the World Festival offers you kiosks selling alcoholic products that are authorized at all times on the Festival’s websites.
Can I bring my chair?
No it is not possible, for reasons of security and space

Can I bring my own alcoholic drinks?
No, alcoholic beverages purchased outside of the site are prohibited according to municipal regulations. Also, please note that it is forbidden to consume alcohol outside the Festival site under penalty of a fine. Please note that many stands will sell beer and other alcoholic or non-alcoholic products on the site of the FIRM.
Can we drink alcohol on the Festival site?
Yes, there will be several stands that will sell alcoholic beverages such as beer and other alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages such as soft drinks, water, etc.
Are bottles of water allowed on the site?
Yes. But, please remember to throw them in the garbage bins and places provided for this purpose. We wish to keep our site clean for the happiness of everyone.
Will Racine Street be reached by car?
No, the Racine Street will be blocked for the Festival period from Sunday July 30th to Monday August 14th inclusively.
Will the stores on rue Racine remain open during the Festival?

What are the opening hours of the festival?
Racine Street : 12:00 AM à 11:00 PM August 3 to 13.
Place du Citoyen : 01:00 PM à 04:30 PM August 5, 6, 12 and 13.
Are there any novelties this year?
Yes, there is the special show for Éric Lapointe’s 25-year career, which will take place on Wednesday, August 9, at the Port area of Chicoutimi. The opening of the doors will be at 7 pm and the show will start at 8 pm.
Also, there will be activities at Place du citoyen on August 5-6 and August 12-13 from 1 pm to 4:30 pm. On site you will find numerous activities by the Tantalou troupe and the gang of the Fous du Roi, music and dance shows, inflatable games, stands and many more.
Another novelty is the Off Festival! Free shows on Form 5 to 7 on Racine Street on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday!
